I'm feeling left behind too! I got 116,000 points over 2-3 days before I switched from PCMR, now I've seemingly struggled to get more than the odd CPU WU. This is a good thing though I suppose; it means the network's still hammering the WUs faster than they can be generated :)

My SETI@Home barely gets through as much as my GPU. I have an 4th gen i7 which is pathetic in comparison to my GPU. I need an upgrade.

If anyone is interested (techies mainly) VMware has created a virtual appliance.

naah @ProvokedPrawn don´t worry, it is not your fault to have a weak mashine
and yes @Spawnsy i also have the feeling that my GPU is doing 70% of the work
According to their GitHub page
You can help out by downloading the Folding@home client to your computer, installing it, and selecting "Any disease" from the Web Control panel.

We're especially in need of more donors with GPUs to help out, and all our GPU projects are devoted to potential drug targets for COVID-19 right now.

May dial back my involvement. My system has been showing cracks in the armour since before I joined this community and it overheated earlier, not sure why but I wasn't at my desk and the only thing running was this calculations program on medium, gpu hit 80 degrees plus. Suffice to say with imminent wedding and being out of work I can't afford to replace it right now and probably won't be able to for another 2 years so I'm going to bow out for now. Its a great idea but I want to keep playing with you all for the next two years and not pushing this thing too hard. :)

No worries Spec; it's a nice thing to be able to do but you don't wanna burn out your rig doing it.

I guess mine must have stalled; rebooted and immediately picked up some GPU WUs.

I'm not surprised it was running hot. Mine was using 100% of my CPU...and that's a Intel Core i9-9980XE
Either that or the 2080Ti but I also use that for video rendering.

You can run Rosetta@Home in tandem with F@H so that you also get more CPU WUs
