Yeah, it is a bit excessive. It means I can't use my gaming keyboard, which I usually find much easier with BF and still be able to use everything.

Capping the flags I think, is just where it's too many people either working independently or within a small team and not paying attention to the wider gameplay. I think that is just down to how good the team captain is. I quite like that you can see which flags other squads on your side are going for, so you can actually think tactically and direct your squad to defend or cap other flags if you're the leader (of course, assuming your squad follows your orders).

I'm quite enjoying it I have to say, once you get to grips with how frenetic it is and the pace (which is much faster on smaller maps I think, then previous BF's).

Agree with you mate, some times its a bit frustrating when everyone heads towards the same flag, Escalation is a good example, and its good mode if you suss it out.

I'm enjoying the Escalation mode once i sussed it out.

Escalation mode builds upon the traditional Conquest gameplay by adding new mechanics that increase the intensity and strategic depth of matches. Here are the key features of Escalation:

Control Points: In Escalation, teams compete to control a total of seven control points on the map. Unlike Conquest, where the number of control points remains constant, one control point disappears after each team scores a point. This mechanic forces teams to adapt their strategies as the match progresses.

Scoring System: To win, a team must be the first to score three points. Points are earned by holding a majority of the control points over time. This creates a more chaotic and fast-paced environment as players fight for dwindling territory.

Dynamic Gameplay: As the match progresses and control points are removed, the battlefield becomes increasingly intense, leading to more frequent and explosive encounters. The gameplay shifts from a broader control strategy to intense skirmishes over the remaining points, enhancing the overall excitement of the matches.

Map Design: Escalation is played on some of Battlefield 6's largest maps, which are designed to accommodate the mode's unique mechanics. The maps encourage vehicle use and strategic positioning, making teamwork and coordination essential for success.

I dont think ill be playing it for long, after 2 weeks the fun has worn off. It's spawn die spawn die. Die revived die revived, rinse repeat.
There are some truly awful maps, except win played on Escalation, which appeares to be the best mode.
Too many weapons and weapon addons, ranking weapons up is a grind.
Also by putting a stop to the bot farming, those of us who are more casual gamers, are now far behind the ones that farmed to rank up.
Not enjoying it as much as BF1.

Have you tried Closed weapon conquest? It's less popular so less chaotic.

What the fuck is this Battle Pass all about, is it just a way for EQ to make more money, also i hate Battle Royal, if i wanted to play a game like that, then i would go back to Unreal Tournament GOTY, or 2004.
