folding at medium my CPU went quite hot, up to 72°C wich might be to high IMO, unfortunatly when folding at low my GPU doesn´t start working

Yep I presumed it was my GPU because well GPU usage but no, it was my CPU that almost hit 90 degrees I've found out through my logs. Either way. For now, nope. :)

@kentone helped me out with some CPU fan software wich helped to pump up the fan rate and lower the core´s temp called SpeedFan
it is a bit complicate to set it propper up, but it helped

You can run Rosetta@Home in tandem with F@H so that you also get more CPU WUs
Rosetta@Home is a different ball game entirely (UC Berkeley). Folding@Home is a lot more intensive and hungry (Stanford Uni). I can’t use my Raspberry Pi to do folding.

Like the VM Ware link thanks 😁😁
Let me know how it goes!

@SpecOpsVX and @Ztranier, if you’d like, I can do some guides on how to stop folding on your CPU and concentrate entirely using your GPU?

In other news, Folding@Home has broken past the exaflop barrier and our team ranking has jumped up 5,240 places!

Thanks for this @rat-rsv. If you're lazy like me, you can skip the waffle.

yes Zel that would be nice to find a way to fold on low lvl and the gpu does´some work too since even with the new fan Setting the Cpu temerature i still on permanent 65°C with peaks above 70°C

What make and model GPU do you have? I have a Gigabyte Altus GTX1080Ti which does reach 70 odd degrees but ramping up the fans using their software pushes it down to 50 odd.
