I've joined which will add another 70,000 points which makes me the winner....or something like that
Nah it seems to reset it. I had about 15000 when I was in the PCMR group.

[EDIT] Ah nope, it's beacause I changed my name; it seems that new name = new donor.

Unfortunately any points accumulated before joining a team won’t go towards it’s total when you join. ☹️

The winner is the fight against COVID-19.

meh! oh well.

Don't forget this is not just for Covid-19. There's so many other good causes this can run for.
I ran this at half whilst playing BF5 and didn't notice a difference. I appreciate not everybody has the PC to do this, but for those that do, remember you can have this ticking away in the background without an issue.

I find that letting it use my GPU it gets more work done (I do that when I'm working, not playing).

I've also found that GOG Galaxy 2.0 DOES NOT PLAY NICE with the Folding@Home client. If you have issues, I'd prevent GOG from running at start up and then run it when you need it (after closing F@H obviously).

I'm being beaten by everyone. I find this unacceptable. Are you running on full?

Damn straight. I do have to ramp up my GPU fans otherwise it's like sitting next to a furnace.

naah @ProvokedPrawn don´t worry, it is not your fault to have a weak mashine
and yes @Spawnsy i also have the feeling that my GPU is doing 70% of the work

Prawn I always turn my PC when I finish work to let it update itself. During this time it's running at full beans.
