User Issues
If you find something in game that's a problem and you want to let us know then please post in here with as much detail as possible about the problem and what you were doing when it broke
Lording it over the plebs and putting my hacks on your PC by many devious methods

Do you mean, about the server or any problem encoutered in game ?
I guess of the first reports will be related to the fact that Sandstorm is always a beta thus needing much polishing and debugging.
So here are some little notes to start the list :
- We are always playing the same side ( either army or insurgents ) and need an admin to make a swap from time to time, instead of having a random swap at the begining of each map like it was before the update
- Only one time : I got stuck at 100% charging the map, was hearing the other guys playing ( steps and shoots and shouts and so on ... ) but stayed still on this stupid charging page rated 100%. Had to alt+F4 and restart the game ...
- invisble crosshair on the sight of a sniper gun picked up on the ground. This is what Clyarion experienced twice in game, each time I was spectating. The first time , I couldn't see the crosshair as a spector. The second time, I could see it, but Clyarion couldn't
- Sleepy hollow : ZTrainer got once killed by a bot rushing that had no head : thrilling

i think the bots sight wideness should be turned down to about 100°, this is still more than we have (mine is at 75° atm due to the lag of Graphik performance) 180° as they have now is unnatural it happens often that you are shooten in situations you can´t imagine

Noticed that in 1st person view shoulder surfing sniper class the scope cross hairs are mis-aligned compared with where the bullets are heading.

thx for the bit easier settings to the bots @taran , it seem s that we might be able to win a map or two in the future now

I agree. Not that I had prefered them a bit harder, but then only the most enthusiastic runners need to be calmed down
..... The others understand very quickly the need to play more slowly and in a more cooperative mode.... even more quickly after 3 or 4 trials watching the players doing that and making it to own the next point
So unless the AI is given significant changes by the devs, this lvl of difficulty is at a balance point.
However, I noticed - and I think it is a recent change - that many ennemies are then roaming here and there, flanking and backstabing us, thus the need not to rush no more, because it causes even more mess in our defensive abilities when advancing to a point ...
Another change,this one I find problematic : I ( and I'm not the only one ) was killed several times while resupplying or being very close to the crate. And this can hapen even right after a point as been "secured". So I now use to cover my team mates who are resupplying, but I really would prefer this crate corner to be really safe, because it is very frustrating to take a head shot in the very first seconds of a trial while there is no choice but to stand exposed, and sometimes defenseless
Another solution : ask the people to stay in the zone and cover while the mates are resupplying. An interesting piece of tactics, but this habit will be a bit harder to teach

after playing the new suply point setting for a couple of days now it apears that people don´t like it, they more like to have a fixed good amount of sup points, so they better hnow how to work with them instead of the increase Ratio.

"Host closed the connection" is happening from time to time lately, kicking everyone out. Latest at 2116 today 09/02.
