To save the admiralty writing this all out repeatedly, every time there is a new member, all the info you need to get started is here, or linked from here. It has been designed as a point of reference for all members to come back to if needed.
If you want to wear our tags in-game, use our ventrillo server, be in our Xfire guild, our steam guild, or attend our social functions, there are a few things you must do. [Please note that holding down ctrl while you click the blue links will open them in a new tab so that you don't loose this page.]
1.Post your introduction.
To do this, you need go to the =EBS= Member details section. Click the 'new topic' button. Make the title of the topic the same as your username, then tell us as much as you like about yourself. When you've finished, click 'submit'. That's it! Dead simple. One line intro's are not acceptable. Your age, gender, gaming history, and rough location is a minimum.
Please feel free to read about as many members as you like, that's what all the introductions are for! Don't forget to keep an eye on your introduction for all the replies welcoming you.
2.Register your gaming names.
Please follow this link to "in game names", read the first post, and follow the instructions.
3.Join our x-fire guild.
All members use
as it allows us to communicate using an instant messenger system which is designed for in-game use. You can therefore xfire an admin and request that they make a space for you if the server is full. You can also make a WO aware of any cheats or rule breakers. If you don't have it or don't know what it is, then the X fire guide will help!
Once you have xfire, or if you already have it, you should let SmellySkunk69 know what your username is so that you can be sent an invitation to the =EBS= xfire guild. This will give you an enormous friends list instantly, and you can see which members are on, and where. You can even join them, and it will automatically load up the relevant game and connect you to the server they are playing on! Please also read this thread. Cheers!
4.Know our rules.
This community was built on strictly enforced rules. Anyone who ignores them is dealt with swiftly and decisively. You therefore need to click this link and read the thread. Persistent offenders are dealt with using our warning system.
Once you have done all of the above, you will be considered a probationary member for 14 days. You should use -EBS- tags until your "time is up".
This allows the server admins to easily identify you (a potential member) in-game, and keep an eye on how you play.
During this time, a record of your conduct is kept in the Probationary Member Records. All of the server admins for that game post anything relevant to that player, such as obeying the rules, using voip, squadding up. Please check your record during your probation to see the progress you're making. if there are very few posts, then please read on.
You should ask the server admins to comment in your record for you when you see them in-game. This will ensure that you get noticed, and that there is enough info in your record to base a vote on. At the end of your 'time' you can request full =EBS= tags by sending a personal message to SmellySkunk69. When a request for full tags is made, the admiralty will check the record of that player's conduct, and vote accordingly. Please do not use full tags until you have been told it is ok to do so.
No financial contributions will be accepted until a player has completed their time, and their application for server admin status is still not guaranteed.

Got vent? This is a voice chat server designed to run in-game. It runs alongside our ranked servers, and has multiple channels for various games. Please do not spam and chat in the game channels. You wouldn't want to hear peoples' gossip and nonsense while you were trying to concentrate on a game would you?
Having trouble with your pc or software? Then have a look at the Technical support Forum. Many common problems are answered there. You can also make posts in that forum requesting help with problems not covered. However, please add as much info as possible in the first post to save all the questions. Don't just say "help, my thing doesn't work." That is not only annoying, but also rather rude.
Need assistance with battlefield?? Have a look through our many comprehensive guides. If you're quite new to the game, then the unlock progression thread should be useful. As for the rest of the guides, even vets have found the odd gem in there. And hey, if you know it all, then share and share alike eh comrade? All additions are gratefully received.
