since we have so many nice food pics and recieps on our Discord server and we are limited to 50 pinnned messages there i thought it was a good idea to open this thread to at least coppy paste those pins over here so we don´t loose them and when the pinned messages need to have a cleenup to free space for newer/younger/spontaneous posts

of course this thread is not only for selfmade food, but also for decent liquids or just found food porn

@kentone (who else) is helping me out to figure out some automatic discords pin insertion over here, so it might take some time until those beautifull posts will show up here to be stored forever 🙄

I suppose I'll kick this one off then. Here's a collection of some pics I've found on my phone from recent-ish times.
Please don't take notice of my terrible photography skills. These are taken in a hurry when I want to eat.

I made the "end of days bolognese" by "nat's what I recon" from youtube. It was great, but really not worth a picture of some meaty brownish sauce. Zen is a bloody pro though, so showing off here is cheating!!

What's a recipe? :oops: I tend to cook off the cuff quite often with only a vague idea of what I'm aiming for.

The nearest I've got for the above is how to make the risotto. Take cooked beetroot, warm through with hot water & blitz into a puree. Smoothie makers are good for this but since they're not vented be careful and let the pressure off often so you don't repaint your kitchen purple/pink.

From there start your risotto off as normal, using red wine instead of white with the rice. At the stage where you'd start adding stock stir the puree in instead. Can thin it out with stock and continue adding as normal till the rice is cooked. You get a lovely sweet flavour from the beetroot.

Season with copious amounts of Parmesan stirred in as usual.

What's cooking? No, literally what's cooking. Weirdly for a fat bloke I hate it. I like eating (no shit Blue) but hate cooking.
Blue's rules for dinner;
1. If it takes longer than 30 minutes I'm not interested. I'm too bored to eat after that.
2. If it takes more than 3 steps to do it. I'm not interested. It's too complex and I will fuck it up.
3. If it takes more than two pan/dish/thing on the stove at the same time. It's not worth the grief.
4. I tried Fusion cooking. I literally atomised a baked potato to form a new coating on the inside of the microwave.

Fried potatoes with some lovely flavours. Tried and tested, accompanying a nice steak, these really do compliment the dish.

I'm very much like Samwise Gamgees when it comes to potatoes. On that note, if you had to give up (for life) cheese or potatoes, which would it be?
